The museum house of  “A.S.Puşkin” is of an international value, a special place where the great Russian writer created his masterpieces. This is a complex consisting of four rooms, recently restored. The museum remains a part of history, culture and society of that time. Many museum visitors remain pleasantly surprised by the architectural style in both inside and outside of the house.

Address: Anton Pann street, 19, Chișinău, MD-2005 The museum was inaugurated 68 years ago (February 1948), in the late eighteenth century, at the Naumov merchant's house. In the four exhibition halls you can find materials dedicated to the work of the Russian poet Alexander Puskin and his activity. In the courtyard there is memorial house where he lived, its exterior and interior appearance being restored in the early nineteenth century. This architectural monument of national importance, included in the register of monuments of history and culture of Chișinău, is a house with a traditional structure consisting of three rooms, located on both sides of a central tend. The facade is symmetrical, with a composition of five axes, four windows and one door that is centrally located. Later the house became part of a building's perimeter lined on the Anton Pann street. The house is considered as being the property of the merchant Ivan Naumov, which in 1948, on 18 February received the neighboring property, whose buildings were destroyed during the Second World War. All Pushkin's creative work from that period was marked by progressive romanticism. During the period of exile in Chisinau, the poet has made a shift from romanticism to critical realism, and his identity began to manifest, his artistic skills were improving.
