The Cave of Surprises from Moldova is an amazing tourist destination, discovered by amateur speleologists by the 70s of XXth century. The cave has a length of over 1,700 meters and is the second largest cave in Moldova, after the cave "Emil Racovita", the third longest cave in Europe and the sixth longest cave worldwide. In order to explore the cave, the visitors are being accompanied by the professional speleologists and are spending hours in the darkness of the tunnels full of bats. 

The richness of nature in the northwestern Moldova is sublimated through the landscape of "Emil Racovita" - the largest and most spectacular cave in the country. Also called “Cinderella” – it is the third largest European space through the caves of plaster (the first two are in Ukraine) and eighth in the world. After several geological expeditions, researchers have qualified it as a natural monument of world importance.

The North of the republic villages shelters the natural cave in the rock of Sarmatian limestone. As surface of the cave, this becomes at the same level with the water at the Dniester river. It was discovered 20 years ago by local villages, and it is the most easily internal pass internal for tourists, compared with other 2 caves known in our country.
