The „Zberoaia Meadow” Natural Reservation

If you are trying to feel a harmonious communion between the human and the nature, then in the „Zberoaia Meadow” this is possible. The reservation strikes with its wildlife and  trees that are fully covered by leaves. People from the nearby villages come here in order to fish, rest or pick blackberries. Not far from the reservation, we have found the second colony of herons, like the one from the „Royal Forest”.

DESCRIPTION

Location: Nisporeni The forestry Natural Reservation „Zberoaia Meadow” is a protected area from the riverside of  Prut. It is located between the villages Grozeşti (to the north), Zberoaia (to the east) and Bălăureşti (to the south), in the Forestry District of Nisporeni, Enterprise of sylviculture „Nisporeni”. Within the reservation there are 222 vascular plant species: 23 species of trees, 8 species of shrubs, 5 species of creepers and 186 species of herbaceous plants. In what concerns the trees, the most wide-spread ones are: poplar, willow, maple and acacia.  „There’s no other place where I could find so many berries as in this one” - said Lucica Tăut, author of the show „Nature through the lens”.
